BREAKING NEWS: Global 3D 2025 cancelled

Global 3D just announced that the event won't take place in 2025. This news is very shocking especially because they posted a reminder about the closing registration a day ago, consequently nobody expected this astonishing announcement.

The team Global 3D detailed the reason in a very long post earlier on Facebook along with their grate sadness due to this hard decision. And the reason is clear: they could not secure enough sponsors and sufficient funding for holding the event by now, so they didn't want to risk. Once the pilots announced people start booking their accommodations and flights to the event, cancelling the event later would have a much bigger impact financially on everyone's budget.

Only the following companies sponsored the event this year: HobbyWing, GensAce, KST, GOOSKY, OMPHOBBY, HeliGear, Miniature Aircraft, Venture Blades, Smaal Incasso. This number is way below the number of sponsors in previous years.

As it's being said: there was no other responsible option just to cancel the event.
