New helicopter on its way from Align
Taiwan company adapts the Direct Drive technology

The Align Corporation just published new hints about a new Align helicopter: the first Direct Drive Align model. This is the technology that is used by Mikado in the Logo 200 or in the original model the OMP M2 helicopter.

No technical details published by the company so far, but it is supposed that the model will be in the 200 class somewhere. It is definitely bigger than the well known T-Rex 150. At the same time the technology is not applicable in much bigger models apparently and it is supposed that the model will be released as an intermediate model between the current 300X and the 150. 

There is also a speculation and can be imagined that the 150 becomes an obsolete model, as it is quite old now and less popular than before. Also Align needs a model which can compete with the models mentioned above.

The model is in development phase momentarily, no release date neither planned price announced yet.
