The main rotor head features a CNC polymer and O-Ring based dampening system, which provides both great low headspeed characteristics, as well as incredibly crisp feeling in high headspeed flight. The main shaft is 15mm thick, offering improved crash resistance and strength over most other 700s in the market. Blade grip pitch arms feature two mounting holes (inner and outer), allowing pilots to tune their rotor heads for incredibly aggressive pitch and cyclic response, or more conventional and calmer reactions.

Additionally the helicopter features titanium based turnbuckles, which provides incredibly precise length adjustments.

The tail rotor is driven by a belt, providing pilots with simplicity of both design and low parts count. Often times belts are desired due to improved durability; in the event of a tail strike often times the belt will skip a few teeth, and keep on running without damage to the drive train.

Battery mounting is a breeze thanks to the sliding rail system. Secured in the front by a single thumb-screw with O-Ring, batteries can be changed in a matter of seconds! There is a large area of space available for CG adjustment (front to back adjustments), or larger battery packs such as 5,500 mAh 12s, or even 5000mAh 14s power systems!

Overall, the Specter 700 weighs in between 11 and 12 pounds depending on electronic choices, making this heli one of the lightest on the market.
