Ciao amico nostro!

I cannot find words. I still hope, someone will send me a message, it was just a very badly implemented mental prank. Because it just cannot be true. And sadly it is true. Our friend, Alessio Romeo, you left us here even though you were too young to do so. I cannot say: rest in peace.

Members of the team you created and ran, the Team Hely-shop are gutted, your loyal customers are shocked. And you were a father, you had a family. And despite the global circumstances, Hely-shop.co.uk was on a growing path. We witnessed your business from the very beginning, how you built it up, brick-by-brick, step-by-step. You were one of the three in the UK. And now? You cannot leave these behind, your families, the real one and the wider heli family; they need you. You are part of them.

We were supposed to meet and talk at Helifest. A week left until then. You were supposed to be there in your whitest tent. You were supposed to present the latest things. And I would have something for you too. We were supposed to celebrate your birthday there which would be in three days today.

Simply, I cannot comprehend that you passed away. I cannot talk about you in past tense, only the stories about you can be in past tense. Like when we filmed the first new style videos at your shop and you were really into it making the struggles fun. Or when Toncsi has got her first heli an XLPower 550 from you which you built. And that heli is still with us despite spares are discontinued and running out. But Toncsi still loves her. Do you know how much? It's in her last video, you should have watched it. You and your heli are among the reasons, why she flies and she flies XLPower. We just discussed that before the sad news; the heli needs to retire soon due to the spares, but she wants to keep her.

I think even you don't know how many of us you helped. Last time when Toncsi crashed her 700 on Monday afternoon before the Charmouth weekend, we sent you the list of the parts we needed and you had in stock on Tuesday, and they were here on Thursday. In the evening we rebuilt the heli and she could fly on the weekend.

What to say now? I don't know. Fly with the guys over there, blue skies and we will see you at some point. Good bye Alessio.
