Storm hits Rotor Global Masters

The heatwave was interrupted by a huge storm at Chengdu Rotor Global Masters in China Friday afternoon. Everyone is alright but the scene looks bad after the storm. The event continues.

The mercury was around and above 40°C in Chengdu in the recent days, more reports were about the heatwave of China in mainstream media anyway. Even pilots complained to the temperature combined with the high humidity.

This heatwave was interrupted on Friday by a storm which partially wiped the event off. Tents were held back by people, lowered to protected them, everyone tried to save as much as possible. Flags broke into half, smaller and lighter things flew away. The strength of the storm is well illustrated by the video posted by Kelly Chen (Goosky) on Facebook
