Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II dies

Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II passed away peacefully this afternoon at Balmoral. Our deepest condolences to the Royal Family.

As many of you aware this website started as rchelicopterhu.uk in the United Kingdom, we changed the name two years later. Therefore we are deeply saddened to her family's and the entire nation's loss. Her husband, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away last year was a special person for the British Modellers as the Patron of the Society of Model Aeronautical Engineers. 

It is expected many of the upcoming RC events in the United Kingdom will be cancelled in respect of the Queen.
