Align T15 is now out

The newest model from Align is the T15. This model is a direct-drive dual brushless helicopter with full 3D capabilities in a very small size. Its weight is about 100 grams and the rotor diameter is 280 mm only. And yet, it is a fully capable model for both beginners and advanced pilots.

It is not a secret, this is one of the smallest Align models and it aims the beginners whilst advanced pilots can fly this model for fun. The combo kit comes with battery, tools and accessories, but it does not contain the battery charger or the transmitter. The system is Futaba FHSS compatible by default, but it can be used with DSM2/DSMX receivers via the included extension lead. The release price of the model is $255. 

The model can be adjusted and configured through Bluetooth 4.2 connection with its own application, which is available for Android and iOS as well. This helicopter is able to fly in attitude mode which can help beginners in the learning, and it can fly 3D mode as well, with its full capabilities. 

The direct-drive technology does not use any gears or belts, the main blades are powered by a direct brushless motor, the 51 mm tail rotor has its own brushless motor. The model is flying with 2S, factory default battery is a 360mAh 50C LiPo battery with JST connector only.
