Heliwood again this year. After the last year's success, Heliwood is going to be better, bigger and longer. But it will be at a new fantastic location. This is because Heliwood will be whole weekend long. Two days of fun fly, promoting the hobby. Various programmes offered to pilots, families and even the public.

Heliwood offers various programmes to RC helicopter pilots. All level welcome, only insurance is required. Heliwood offers programmes to families as well, like last year. Children are entertained at the children section of the event. And Heliwood offers a place to people who want to join the hobby, want to know more about the hobby, or just want to see how RC helicopters fly.

Heliwood is the place where we show ourselves to the public, where we present, what and how we are doing. Heliwood is the event of #KeepRCHelisAlive.

Heliwood this year

As it is above, Heliwood 2019 will be held at new location. We have an agreement with the Council of Halásztelek, therefore the city is participating in Heliwood with providing facilities to us. Therefore all the toilets, the food court and other services will be provided in the Ferenc Németh Sports Centre, which is located on the other side of the flight line. This is how Heliwood can be all weekend long with quality services.

Event Location

Halásztelek, Hungary

Halásztelek is a suburban city, right next to Budapest, the Hungarian capital. It is located about 20 minutes driving from the heart of Budapest and 40 minutes driving from Budapest Airport.

Council of Halásztelek cooperate with us to make the event even more successful than last year, the city provides facilities and services to us. Also accommodation is provided in the nearby, limited spaces available just walking distance from Heliwood.

We have got very few rooms reserved in the very nearby for the quickest ones. Édes Piros Panzió in Halásztelek is reserved to us for Heliwood with all 7 rooms: 2, 3 and 4 bed rooms and only six left as one is booked already.

Hotel Airport, Tököl

Also very frequent place at the Tököl Aerodrome, prices vary, but not that many rooms left. The hotel is about 1 mile from Heliwood.
